Recently my brother who works as a school teacher in a district school and he was in for a surprise. The authorities demanded a clean criminal report from his side! He had just one doubt- What does a criminal background check consist of? Its not that he was guilty of any offense, but he was concerned since it meant insecurity about his job. There are many others like him who have to face a criminal verification procedure in the course of their job. Long time ago, we used to believe that such criminal reports are required only while applying for a job. Times have changed and the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers are still fresh that make the employers keep no stone unturned. After all, it is better to be safe than sorry. Read more…
